After being dropped by her modelling agency for transphobic messages, the model spoke out about being trans herself – this was a big fat lie. In case you haven’t heard about the troubling news surrounding Carissa Pinkston, you’re definitely about to. Carissa Pinkston was on her way to becoming a big name in the modelling industry, having appeared in Savage x Fenty ads to name one of her clients. After a long rant on Facebook under the name of Rissa Danielle, she proclaimed that trans women were in fact not women, she even compared transexuals to paedophiles and has been on several Live Videos on Instagram with similar messages.
Late July, she took to Instagram Live crying for being fired by her agency. Even though no one could really hear anything during her live stream which was filled with tears from her end, she quickly posted a “coming out” note trying to save her own skin by stating she was
“I wasn’t ready to come about it yet but today I got fired and I’ve been receiving hate mail and death threats ever since so I’m being forced to tell the truth,” she wrote. “I’m Transgender. I transitioned at a very young age and I’ve lived my life as a female ever since. It’s been very hard to keep this secret but what I said about Trans-Women is a direct reflection of my inner securities and I have since come to realise that I am a Woman. WE ALL ARE!”
Her message was received with deep concern as this woman had recently showered her social media accounts with transphobic messages, fellow models began to research her and her background, proving that she was in fact lying to save her own ass. Pinkston, later on, released another post reading; “I apologise for any transphobic remark I’ve ever made towards the Trans community,” I panicked and I thought if I came out as Trans that I could somehow make things better for myself but it appears I’ve only made things worse. I’m truly sorry. I’m only 20 and I’m human. I make mistakes but I refuse to let them define me. I hope you all can forgive me and move on from this because I’m so much more than this incident and I’m not a coward.”
Her rants, posts, videos have since this drama flared up been removed – yet you will forever be able to find them by googling her name.
